Understand How a Dental Bridge Can Repair Your Smile
Simply put, dental bridges are non-removable dental appliances that replace one or more missing teeth. A dental bridge also performs the following:

During your appointment, we’ll clean your teeth, prepare the teeth on either side of the gap (or abutment teeth), and take a mold of your mouth. We’ll then use that mold to create your custom bridge. Two crowns rest on the edges of the bridge to cap the abutment teeth while the pontics (or false teeth) sit in the center of the bridge directly inside the gap.
We’ll check the fit of your bridge and adjust it if necessary. Since we use fixed bridges, we temporarily cement the bridge and adjust its fit before permanently cementing it in place.
